A number of the Formula One teams have been busy working on their new cars for the last couple of months and we will be able to see the fruits of their labour by the end of January. The Formula One Testing starts in the first week of February and the first race is on the 17th March. So it’s important that everything is working well in time for the F1 Packages due to kick off in Melbourne on 17th March and that is why testing is so important.
McLaren and Force India have already confirmed that they will be revealing their new cars. McLaren will unveil the Mercedes powered MP4-28 on 31st January in the UK and Force India will reveal their car a day later at Silverstone.
McLaren will have to learn this year how to cope without Lewis Hamilton and will instead have a line-up of the 2009 World Champion Jenson Button and the former Sauber racer Sergio Perez.
F1 Packages are available for all of the 20 Formula One races, with the first F1 Package being in Melbourne and finishing off in Sao Paulo.
